What we do

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

Design, simulate, test, repeat. We believe in the importance of knowing what’s happening every time an athletes steps onto a field or a cyclist roles onto the road. How can we help them be faster, stronger, first to the finish line? CFD allows for advanced modeling utilizing Falcon Pursuit’s™ Athlete-Avatar™, products can be quickly baselined, analyzed, and improved.

Competitor Baselining

We need to know where we are starting to know where we want to go. Falcon Pursuit’s competitor baselining department is used by customers to test against rival products.

Product Development

You’ve got a question… Let’s help you get an answer. Falcon Pursuit’s team has extensive background in product development working with our clients to solve difficult problems, over come challenges, and become industry leaders in their product segments.

Communicating results to your audience

Falcon Pursuit realizes that once a product is designed you need to communicate that story to the customer or athlete. Our teams have a unique approach, which has seen reduced product acceptance timeline curves.

Why are aerodynamics important?

100 GRAMS 10 WATTS 1 SECOND

80% of an athlete’s energy at racing velocity goes to overcome the fluid (air) to propel them forward, as the athlete increases the power required to move forward increases.

Simply said, for an athlete to double their speed requires 4x the amount of energy.

Applying basic physics to aerodynamic drag for a moving athlete, the reduction of 100 grams of drag equals .98 seconds per kilometer. Thus reducing the time required for the athlete to travel one kilometer by ~1 second at equal power generation. Translating to a form of power measurement, a 100 gram reduction in drag is approximately 10 watts of power saved, to travel the same distance at the same time.
