Race Day Simulation

Have you ever heard the saying, "Control what you can?"

A simple statement, but at Falcon Pursuit we have taken this concept to our core. Sport in a raw form can be expressed as a mathematical equation. Although slightly more complicated than your high school pre-calculus class, there runs a common theme: the more variables you isolate, explore, and control, allow you to create your end result.

Falcon Pursuit's Race Day Simulations evaluate Energy Management, execute Performance Simulations and, most importantly, implement PEDA.

As with any problem, there are different goals and definitions of success. Falcon Pursuit's holistic approach puts the desire of the individual athlete as the fundamental building block of achieving success.

Falcon Pursuit has a different saying, "Control the variables you can... and then some.".

Energy Management

At Falcon Pursuit, we are consistently pushing the boundaries of how to effectively manage an athlete's energy output. Utilizing our Athlete-Avatar™, live telemetry feeds and our simulation engines, Falcon Pursuit can deliver effective strategies to manage individual or team's energy output during 150km cycle race, marathon or a 90-minute football match.

Think about this: The average professional football player covers 12 kilometers per match, yet this is 12km at 100 or so bursts at top speed. Using Falcon Pursuit proprietary tools and methodology, the ability to offer the same player running 12km a 17% savings in kilojoule expenditures is significant. It translates to the athlete being faster in every burst of speed, or more energy to use in the final minutes of the game.

Performance Simulations

You train hard, recover smart, diet meticulously and mentally prepare for your event. Falcon Pursuit takes this to the next level with Performance Simulations. Utilizing our proprietary Athlete-Avatarâ„¢, telemetry data and simulation engines, we are able to model environments, evaluate choices, develop tactics and implement race strategies.

Think about this: When a sports director for an elite cycling team is choosing his rider and equipment line-up for a Team Time Trial, the ability to virtually model the environment, run race analytics, determine what equipment should be used for each individual athlete (here's a sneak peek: what is fast for you, is not fast for me). The ability to effectively control the data provides you with a unique competitive advantage and allows the team and athletes to dive into a world of precision previously unattainable.

Post Event Data Analytics (PEDA)

The race is over and the match is finished. The equipment gets loaded into team vehicles; the athletes hit the showers, refuel and recover.

Is this the end or the beginning?

At Falcon Pursuit, this is the start. Falcon Pursuit's Post Event Data Analytics (PEDA) is in full swing. Falcon Pursuit implements a holistic process: the Athlete-Avatarâ„¢, Telemetry Systems, Energy Management strategies and Performance Simulations are all pieces of a puzzle. PEDA is where the pieces of the puzzle are analyzed, evaluated and refined. With each day, event, single piece of data, the algorithm is continually refined offering a competitive advantage.

To stay at the front of the race, the athlete must continually evolve.

PEDA ensures Falcon Pursuit and its partners have that advantage.

Think about this: Falcon Pursuit's telemetry systems in conjunction with its individual baseline metrics allow for a constant stream of information, contributing to an improved performance for the athlete. We realize that what the athlete experienced today and the energy output that he or she used has an impact on future performance. The ability to interpret that live feed, and contrast against optimal baseline data, allows for solutions to be developed and tactics implemented.
